Monica has been in real estate since 2018 and her specialties include assisting home buyers and sellers who may be recent empty-nesters, retirees needing to downsize, or seniors wanting to age-in-place. Monica loves being a resource, educating, understanding, and providing relevant information to help her clients find the perfect place to call home. She is committed to delivering the best possible experience for her clients, making them feel at ease through the process of these major life transitions.

One of the things Monica loves most about her job is having the honor of helping real estate clients in the 55+ age group. As a baby boomer with life experience herself, she is confident in her ability to help others in this stage of life. Monica is proud to be a Seniors Real Estate Specialist (SRES®) in the San Diego, CA area, and she also has certification as a Downsizing in Real Estate Specialist (DSRE®). Monica helps senior homeowners define their goals and provides them with the information and tools they need to find the best home and neighborhood to fit their lifestyle.

While Monica grew up in Torrance, CA, she moved to San Diego in 1989 to raise her two beautiful children and has never left. San Diego has been her home for over 30 years, and she absolutely loves living there. As a San Diego resident for over three decades, she has in-depth knowledge of the San Diego North County real estate market, and her broad marketing plan combined with an extensive local and international referral network enables homeowners to get the maximum value for their property. 

Monica and her husband have owned a home improvement business since 2001, and her experience in that industry hones her eye for real estate. Her favorite design influencer, Becki Owens, inspires people to live beautifully, with her ability to transform any space into a warm, inviting, and stylish place to gather. Monica treats every situation with attention to detail, making each experience as enjoyable and seamless as possible for every client she represents.

As a 15-year breast cancer survivor, Monica is passionate about finding a cure. She volunteers at local organizations and is active with the Susan G. Komen for the Cure organization for Breast Cancer Research and Education. Monica is also on the board for Milestone House, a short-term residential therapeutic program that has a strong emphasis on education. Milestone House emphasizes independent living skills, teaching children how to care for themselves to gain independence and learn the skills they will need when they leave the foster care system.

In her leisure time, Monica enjoys spending time with family, including her husband, two children, and grandchildren. She also enjoys hiking, traveling, meditating, golfing, road trips, and taking long walks on the beach.
